Draw Architecture - architecture/interior photography

I am frequently commissioned by architecture studios in London and further afield to shoot their recent projects for use in their portfolios. One that I've worked with on several projects over the years is Draw Architecture in Wandsworth, London.

One of the recent projects I undertook for them involved an apartment they had styled. In this instance, they were keen that I focus on drawing out the details in the interior design, to showcase how each element ties in neatly with the others around it.

I have photographed majority of their projects from kitchen extensions to whole houses where I was asked to emphasise on structural changes and modern extensions. This architecture company specialise in house extensions , modern windows and sliding door openings. Their favourite materials are concrete, wood, glass. For me it is often a matter of finding right angles - they approach is holistic, materials and patterns carefully selected which is carefully complimented by wall colours, home accessories. They also design lighting system which can be switched depending on time of a day or your mood. Not only brightness but also colour temperature. This is what makes a difference between a space you feel comfortable and just a modern empty space where you feel like another accessory.

I am always excited to see their latest achievement and photograph it especially at twilight - when interior design and lighting works as one .
