INTERIOR DESIGNER NEW PROJECT LONDON HOUSE WITH CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

Last days of 2019 I spent photographing/retouching this unusual house. A mixture of styles and colours , shapes and forms can be found in this bold statement of art reflected in collection of paintings, sculptures and japanese pieces of furnitures. They are all together carefully placed to create harmonious blend of homeware artefacts. This place was designed to shine and be admired but it does not luck of character , homely and cosy feel of a loved home.

I normally prefer to photograph places using natural light with its shadows, highlights and true colours. When it comes to this place it was hard to avoid carefully designed spotlights , led table, sidelight, chandeliers etc. Perhaps evening twilight photography would be best to show full potential of the place , but I was not far away as short winter days gives a similar evening feel.

From my interior photography experience I would say that the better the place the less you need to intervene - sometimes it is just a matter vow finding right angles and how little to show to make a picture exciting :)
