Belsize Park Apartment - Interior Designer Tanya

Over the past two decades, Interior Designer, Tanya Jones specialises in blending her client’s aspirations, and pride, to give them a home better than they could have imagined. 
I recently photographed her Belsize Park project, an apartment she fitted in its entirety, reconfigured & designed to reflect her client’s lifestyle. 

It was a very enjoyable photo shoot and the apartment was finished to the highest standard. Tanya has not left anything to chances as all details and props were in place.

The kitchen was photographically challenging as it was pure white with not many features. I used available light as a main source with a gentle fill in flash keeping natural shadows. The other rooms were rich in colours and features perfect for close ups and editorial interior photography.

Before taking any interior pictures I always like to spend some time in each room to absorb its vibrance and personality. Interior designers have an ability an eye to translate clients need into something which is close to their hearts, which speak to them and reflex aesthetics of a current times.

My mission is to capture it by placing a camera in a right places, choosing a blend of ambient/flash light and by giving it a final touch in post production.
